Our responsibility

We are a company based in the United States of America and abide by all federal laws and regulations. International users will be subject to the same regulations despite laws and regulations of the user’s residing country

We will not delete or edit your account unless requested or the Terms of Service is broken

We will run necessary precautions to keep our services safe for everyone

In the case of an outage, prompt updates will be provided on our social media profiles

In the case of any additional bugs or platform usability issues, we will work with you as soon as possible to ensure a fix is issued

Proper use and conduct

We have every intention of helping you express yourself creatively online. That being said, we also ask that your actions on our services do not take part in any of the following to ensure that these services are kept safe and open for everyone:

Impersonate others

Violate or encourage to violate these Terms of Service

Attempt to buy, sell, or transfer any aspect of your account or solicit, collect, or use login credentials of other users

Register a Dive account under 13 years of age

On top of that, your Dive account should not contain any of the following:

Harmful or dangerous content: content should not encourage potentially harmful actions

Hateful content: Content should not promote hatred or violent acts targeted at specific people, specific groups of people or one’s self

Violent or graphic content: Content should not show anything of especially violent or gory nature. Artificially graphic material in video games rated Teen or lower are exempt

Harassment and cyberbullying: Accounts intended for harassment of an individual or group of people is considered a malicious attack and will be treated as such

Leveraging titles: Use misleading titles in an attempt to gain clout or otherwise benefit the account owner

Spam or scam content: One should not use content to leverage the viewer. Titles and thumbnails should be clear and not misinform users of the intended purpose of a link or post

Nudity or sexual content: Any and all pornography and sexually explicit content is strictly prohibited. Do be aware that we take exploitation of any kind extremely seriously and will take severe actions to ensure this kind of material is reported and not found on any of our services

Threats: Actions such as stalking, invading privacy, revealing other people’s personal information, and anything involved in the process of threatening another individual will be taken seriously along with the necessary precautions

Violation consequences

Every case is unique, so it will be up to the moderators to determine specific consequences for breaking the rules laid out in these Terms of Service. Depending on the severity, you may be penalized in the following ways:

Alteration of the user’s account or content

Suspension of account and profile visibility

Termination of account and all associated data

We do not claim ownership of your content, but you grant us an international, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it. We are permitted to modify any aspect of your Dive account
